So look upon those with power, once obtained becoming sour
Perhaps a mission cast upon us, to not keep what they promise
Or maybe the position overwhelming, unaware of what they’re selling
And you can say what you will, still you’re stuck with the bill

Finding solidarity demanding change, but none can be arranged
Still having to work within the system, even though you are against them
Trying to flee from oppression, but it’s in every direction

think you have some time still, but history works in cycles
